My illustration entry for the Taiwan Tourism Administration in Vietnam competition. For this project, I wanted to showcase OhBear, Taiwan's official mascot, experiencing the absolute best of what the island has to offer. From slurping boba mid-flight and hugging Taipei 101, to getting mesmerized by a traditional sky lantern, the goal was to give this beloved Formosan black bear a fun, slightly goofy, and highly lovable personality. Designed with bold shapes, energetic poses, and a clean vector aesthetic to perfectly capture the vibrant spirit of Taiwanese tourism.
